From May 22 to 25, 2019, Medsintez took part in the VIII (XXVI) National Congress of Endocrinologists "Personified Medicine and Practical Health Care".
Participation in this Congress is the enterprise's tradition. Medsintez presented its main products - finished dosage forms of Rosinsulin®, the genetically engineered human insulin in cartridges, bottles and pre-filled syringe pens. Medsintez implements the complete cycle of genetically engineered insulin production. The pharmaceutical direction is driven by implementation of some projects dealing with arranging the manufacturing of medicines and active pharmaceutical substances of genetic-engineered and analoginsulins for subsequent use in our own production of finished dosage forms. At the moment, the company has developed a technology for obtaining the RosinsulinAspart and RosinsulinGlargin substances, as well as their dosage forms.
During the Congress, issues of practical interaction between clinicians and specialists of diagnostic labs, lab test result interpretation, development and implementation of modern technologies in practical medical activities were discussed. The priorities of the Congress's research program were the observance of evidence-based medicine principles, tying personified approaches with the current needs of modern clinical practice and a deeper insight into interdisciplinary problems.
During the Congress, a meeting of the dedicated endocrinology commission of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation was held, where such issues were discussed as the organization of the diabetic service, staff training, discussing draft clinical guidelines and specific tasks for better early diagnosing of diabetes, its complications and other endocrine conditions, boosting the treatment effectiveness in general, effectiveness and accessibility issues of specialized endocrinological help rendered to the population of Russian regions.
